
Burnice, Kingwood Medical Center
As a child, Burnice spent a lot of time watching nurses care for her sister, who was battling cancer. Burnice was inspired by the impact these nurses had on her sister's life. The experience greatly influenced her decision to pursue a career in nursing. Today, she's an RN at Kingwood Medical Center in Houston. Burnice is proud to be part of the team and is grateful that HCA Houston and Kingwood have supported her in her career and in her life.
Bobbye, Clear Lake Regional Medical Center
With the closure of Spring Branch Medical Center in May 2010, Bobbye was faced with a big decision. Spring Branch had been her home as a nurse for 18 years. After exploring her options, Bobbye chose Clear Lake Medical Center, where she is now serving as Nursing Director. The primary factor in her decision was the opportunity to deliver quality, safe patient care.
James, Bayshore Medical Center
James enjoys the fast pace of Emergency Nursing. He works as an RN in the Emergency Department at Bayshore Medical Center. His job keeps his adrenaline pumping, but more importantly, it gives him the chance to help heal people and make a difference in people's lives. That's what he loves more than anything.
Jodi, The Woman's Hospital of Texas
It was after helping her father through cancer treatments that Jodi decided to become an RN. She also had many nurses in her family to inspire and guide her. In her last semester of nursing school, she came to The Woman's Hospital of Texas to do her clinicals. She immediately fell in love with the whole atmosphere and is proud to be working as an RN in Labor & Delivery.
