HCA Houston has a variety of programs designed to get your career off to a great start. Nurses in their final semesters of nursing school are strongly encouraged to begin their career exploration with HCA. Nursing jobs here begin with knowledgeable hospital recruiters and nursing leaders meeting with you to determine the nursing specialties that best meet your needs, and match those with the many excellent internship programs being offered at that time.

Through a combination of classroom training and practical, hands-on work with qualified preceptors, our interns receive training and information on current practices and issues. They also help direct patient care and acquire guided experience developing clinical competencies, which is vital for nursing careers.

Get your career off to the right start with a sign-on bonus, competitive base rates, shift, holiday and weekend differentials. We also offer Graduate RN candidates a $400 allowance for a NCLEX review course. Both GVNs and GNs are provided 2 paid days to study and/or take their board exams.
