Women’s and Pediatric Nursing

In the field of women’s nursing, miracles happen every day. HCA-Houston hospitals offer career opportunities in high-risk/antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum and gynecological nursing. Nurses in women’s services meet the changing needs of the mother, newborn and family.

Specifically, The Woman’s Hospital of Texas provides the highest level of women’s care available in Houston and the surrounding areas. With The Woman’s Hospital of Texas facilities in Conroe Regional Medical Center and West Houston Medical Center, our outstanding physicians are also accessible to women in communities just outside the city.

Additionally, nurses who specialize in the care of our youngest patients are able to find their calling in our expansive network. Neonatal intensive care services are offered at the majority of the HCA-Houston hospitals, along with positions in our well newborn nurseries. Many nursery nurses have transitioned to NICU while employed at an HCA-Houston hospital.

And just like our patients, our pediatric services are growing fast! While the majority of our hospitals offer some level of pediatric care, Clear Lake Regional Medical Center operates an extensive Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. This provides the community with an effective option to traveling to the Texas Medical Center for services.
